Change, I Can

by Emon on June 4, 2008

Change, you will learn I realize, can’t be made with a closed mind and heart. Time won’t bring change wrapped with renewed happiness. So what’s left is you me taking action.

It’s time you I changed some things about you me and around you me. But first, you I need to walk out of this friggin’ memory slide-show. You I need to stop licking nostalgia ice cream. The taste is not sweet anymore. You I need to understand change won’t come to you me. You I have to get up and walk over to it and introduce yourself myself.

I need running shoes.

If I told you this is the most accurate description of my current situation - one of immobility confronted with change (and of running shoes) - would you believe me? Good post, fast, quick, dirty and true. Cheers.
