I’ve been wanting to do this for a while: start a weekly Cricket game played with tennis ball, at any NYC park. That’s not the right ball you play cricket with but we’re not looking at professional careers here; just wickets, bats and balls. Soft-ballizing Cricket may offend some but we know better than to give a shit about them. Simple: 7 players per team and 25 Overs each side.
If enough people are involved, we could eventually start a league and play other city and state teams. Anyone interested? Know anyone who would be? Men, women, youngsters everyone! It’s not so much different than baseball, so baseball players are welcome. And it’s a very, very fun game - promise!

BTW, I think that 25 overs is too much for a 7 member team. WE normally play 12 overs.
