This past year has been Dante's 8th Circle of Hell...all I did was say goodbye to people I loved and concepts and I values that I--at one time-- believed in whole-heartedly. 2007 has been like one big douche. Obliterating that which was, leaving a sterile environment devoid of so much. I posted something recently about people being in our lives for a lifetime or just for a season. I realized that for me personally, I've lived a lifetime of "seasons". And that's OK.... These poeple came into my life for a purpose and with a predetermined exit strategy that even they knew nothing about. I learned a great deal from these "seasonal' people. But in their wake and the deafening silence caused by their absence, I now know I'm ready for something else. I'm waiting for "the one" who has "With Her For A Lifetime" stamped on this emotional passport. Terrific post, E and I'm diggin' the new look.
