I had no idea how much this typeface dominates the world of design; in New York, particularly, if you’re a subway rider, there’s no escaping from it. Gary Hustwit’s documentary looks into the history and popularity of the typeface which also stepped into its 50th year. When I spotted the title on Netflix, I had to rent it. It also got mentioned on the Doc Blog.
