It surpassed my expectation. The only other time I’ve seen an audience react to a film was when I watched Spiderman II. “You…complete me,” the Joker tells Batman at one point and you realize Batman is part of a make up that makes Gotham, Gotham. All the principal characters conveyed more while talking less. Expect the next Batman to be darker.

I won’t try to ‘review’ it anymore. Go see it. It’s worth the admission price. Trailers, usually for terrible films, tell the whole story and more, but this one surprised me. Heath Ledger was great. Aaron Eckhart’s Harvey Dent is also worth mentioning. Chris Nolan rules. No surprise there.
