The Film Industry: 1921

The argument that anybody could take ’snaps’ with a camera dates way back. I wondered why they decided on 16 frames per second as the standard. But a quick look-up revealed this.

Yeah, I always see the old shots of someone cranking a film camera and wonder just how they learned to regulate the speed as well as they did. Must have been an awful lot of bad footage some days.
