This Stanley Myers piece has a “written centuries ago” feel to it. I’ve been feeling very down for the past few days - something I let myself go through every once in a while - and this music reflects exactly how I’m feeling as the streak’s coming to an end (good for me). You may remember this as the theme for The Deer Hunter.
Peo Kindgren, whose solo guitar renditions of Beatles songs are some of the best, plays this version.
