Juilliard Contd: Miles Davis/Kazan
Miles Davis had dropped out of Juilliard and decided he’d learn a whole lot more by studying scores from New York Public Library and playing with Jazz greats at 52nd Street. By the way, Miles (w/ Quincy Troupe) is one of the best written autobiographies I’ve read. The best one has to be Elia Kazan’s “A Life”.
