Just the Two of Us

by Emon on October 15, 2007

The storm came and went. Now the two of us are anchored in a flood of raw and unfamiliar emotions. The friend next to us feels helpless, unable to carry the burden. Unable itself to drift away and find help. I’m glad you were by my side through all this. Just being next to you during the bad made me realize my weakness can be my strength, and how good we have it together. I suppose you are good for me.

“We’re both dumping grounds of love. No one could ever trash our love–it is whole and enduring. To think otherwise is garbage.. Thanks for loving me. Let’s continue to recycle our feelings. I love you very mu—. Hey! WTF?? Is that a body?”

“People always told us we should be in one of those commercials…we’re so much alike! Thanks eHarmony.com!”
