One of the longest escalators in NY subways. The one on 181st.
My submission for Flickr 888. If I’d taken this shot just 13 minutes before…it would have been 8.8.08 at 8:08 pm.
You can’t have it all. Although that extra 8 in the 181 makes it ok.

Great shot. I’m not familiar with that escalator, but is it as long as the one at Broadway Junction? I seem to remember that one going quite a ways, but maybe it was just the slight bit of vertigo I got going up to the elevated platform on it.
