NY Philharmonic at Governor’s Island…

by Emon on July 6, 2008

…NOT!

Went all the way out to the Island to find out the concert has been canceled. People were not happy. I wasn’t either. However, it wasn’t a complete waste. Got to walk around the Isle a bit and caught a mini demo of Civil War soldiers talking about fire arms during that war; they shot a couple of rounds too. Nice.

I did manage to get some pictures out of this ‘journey’. Slideshow in full-screen.

At least your trip didn’t go to waste. The photos are great, as always :)

They are all great but I really liked the two photos with Statue of Liberty in the background.

Thanks, Dee! I guess that proves the journey can be more meaningful than the destination.

Thanks, Nicole! Me too. I can’t get enough of Lady Liberty.
