Birth of iPhone

The seeds were planted as far back as 2002 which, believe or not, did not give birth to iPhone first.

1 Jason 01.10.08 at 12:41 pm: My wife had a ROKR for a bit, but it was so crappy and user-unfriendly that she quickly got a new phone. I remember that it was dumb to the point where if you had the headphones plugged in, it would still play music through the internal speaker and neither of us could figure out how to make it play only through the headphones.
2 Emon 01.10.08 at 12:57 pm: It’s amazing how almost no one even mentioned ROKR as Apple’s first in media the past year. Every other tech blog or site took the iPhone ride yet they kept mum. That’s something.

Does your wife still have that phone? It could be a hit on eBay.
