iPhone 3G for you. Nokia N95 8GB for me.
Well, not quite for me to own. The good folks at WomWorld sent me a N95 8GB to give it a test-drive for 3 weeks; you are allowed to be jealous. I’m not much of a tech reviewer but I can come up with ways to make use of them. In a sense what I can do with it and how it lets me do what I’d like to do can be a review, if it makes any sense.
So, for the next 3 weeks, my friends, I’ll put it to use. I’ll be back from Atlanta on the 16th, so till then you won’t see much activity.Once I return, I’ll think of what I can do. That means, my ‘Mobservations’ series will continue with N95 for some time. This baby has a 5MP camera, a auto-focus Carl Zeiss lens so the quality will be much much better. However, I haven’t figured out how to turn off the ‘kachinggg’ sound when you take a picture so that means no taking random pics in quiet places. Bummer. This is the first pic I took with the cam. Not bad, eh?
But I can’t just do a picture, can I? I have to preserve the moment of unveiling and show you what the N95 looks like and what comes in that box. I filmed the ‘unveiling’ with a Cybershot, except for that one bit where it flashes ‘N95 Cam.’
There will be lots videos in the coming weeks. Good or bad, they’ll be here - as will photos and maybe some audio pieces. I played with the thing most of last night and all of this morning. Loving it so far! I’ll share what I learn as I go along. I’ll advance-post some videos and pics to cover the next 3 days.

Joe: Oh yeah, that’s because the item was shipped from the U.K. where the WomWorld head office is, I think. This phone has been through other users, so not brand new. It’s still awesome.
Michael: Yes, I’ll be using the camera a whole lot. Haven’t tested the ringer yet. After I get back from ATL.
