Warner Bros. Doc on PBS

by Emon on September 21, 2008

If I had to pick a favorite Hollywood studio, it would be Warner Bros. The films that came out of it are some of my favorites. And I prefer the Warner Bros. cartoons over Disney any day.

PBS (Channel 13 in NYC) is airing a 3-part documentary on the studio’s history this 23, 24, and 25th. I’ll be watching.

And a couple of interviews.

I’ve always been an MGM cartoon guy (Tom & Jerry, etc.) but Warner’s output was magnificent. And there’s no topping Chuck Jones, or the voicework of Mel Blanc.
