What about you, E?

What are yours? How firmly rooted are yours in who you were as a boy? Who you’ve become as a man? What role, if any, does your culture play in your belief system?

I grew up as a natural Catholic. By that I mean, I was raised to believe what my parents believed. Catholicism, like most of the vitriolic faiths, thrives upon familial legacy. I think with me, the buck stops here.

In many ways, I agree with Marx with what he said about religion being the opiate of the people. I’m all for live and let live, but even that rationale has it’s limits.

Thanks for linking me. I owe you one.

By the way, next month, Cram Magazine is publishing my post about how bloggers write. I owe you for that. I’m indebted. Thank you, E!
