Moira's Fable

Somewhat briefly: This is a project I’d decided to do on a whim on the first day of this year. It was a way to force myself to write everyday. The idea to write and post instantly is something I’ve tried back in December 2008 but let myself quit. Not quite proud of that.

This time, it would mean business, I told myself. So I wrote that first chapter – Episode 1 – and have since been adding chapter a day. The idea was also to to make new chapters (episodes) more interactive by linking to/from other episodes – sometimes to future episodes – and adapt to the blogging format.

I almost never know what I’ll write about until I click ‘Add New’ on WP editor window. The process has been challenging; some days I suffer more than others. But it is making me write, which is what I intended in the first place. Why post words at such raw state – with errors, complications etc. – and share them with so many? Not sure. Perhaps it’s a way of avoiding thinking and planning about things in life than just doing it and learning from it.
