I have a dedicated blog on photography now. You can head over there and check out the stuff, or stay here and get a preview below.

I’m a semi-something photographer. I photograph because I love it. I photograph because it keeps me on my toes about observing the world. When you stop observing, you stop learning. And when you do that, fuck being creative.
My main camera is Canon 5D Mark II. My first is a Canon Rebel XTi, and it’s still one I use. Some of my favorite sets using this camera are 2008 Coney Island Mermaid Parade, Brooklyn Bridge 125th Anniversary, Capoeira/Yomo Toro, Chinatown/Little Italy Photo Walk, and NYC 2008 Marathon.
However, I’m not the type to carry my camera around all the time. That only comes out on occasions and events. That’s where my cellphone comes in. A lot of people look down on taking pics with a cellphone but they don’t know what they’re missing. Before it broke, my main cellphone was a Samsung M510 with a 1.3 MP camera. This is the result of using that for over a year.
I use an iPhone now. And have kicked up the challenge a notch by taking pictures and uploading them on my Flickr group Mo-Pho Blogs right away; no post processing allowed. I think it has been helping me find the shot and live with it. It certainly has when I went to photograph the marathon, and most recently to DC for the Obama Inauguration.
My Gear:
Canon Normal EF 50mm f/1.8 II Autofocus
Tamron Zoom Super Wide Angle 18-200 f/3.5-6.3 XR DII LD Aspherical
Canon RC-1 Wireless Remote. (very handy)
Sunpak Tripod (gets the job done)
I edit photos with:
Adobe Photoshop CS (yes, that old one)
