I went ahead and bought mine. This is my first ‘car.’ It feels that way. I have a long way to go in photography and video, but this is like practicing on a Gibson Les Paul. All those months of saving up, noodles, not buying what I don’t absolutely need, not going out, eating out, not wasting on shit was for this. And I have to tell you, feels damn good!
Didn’t have a lot of time to play with it much but here’s a video I shot with it. I go into details about the setting etc on the YouTube page, so won’t get into it much here. I don’t know if the music does it for you because it’s not so much for me anymore. Too late.
Now to photos. Bought the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L lens. Mm mm…this is a sweet sweet lens and I took some nice shots earlier. However, I did exactly what I did when I bought my XTi and managed to trash all the photos. The following are taken with the $90 Canon 50mm f/1.8 because it was on.
Wish I had the nice ones to show you but…oh well. Bring you some cool ones soon.
