‘Times’ Have Changed

It doesn’t quite register how information medium has changed until you see it going down in front of you.

I’m sitting at Starbucks reading NY Times on my phone, while the guy sharing my table is reading the print version. The common thing we have going is the coffee.

I’m not saying he is old fashioned or anything. For all I know he could be a huge tech genius. It’s that we both have options of reading and sharing the news as wide as what this table is witnessing.

The advantage I have is – I can pause and write a blog post and share with anyone in the world who will listen before he steps into his apartment and shares:

“Honey, so I’m reading the Times, and the guy sharing my table is…”
