“I wanna sing ‘It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue,” Dylan says, ripping the guitar off of Donovan (ok ok…gently ripping). His face, Donovan’s, looked that of a hurt child. Then follows Dylan’s facial expression when he sings “Yonder stands your orphan with his gun, crying like a fire in the sun.” That smile is worth a thousand Dylan words. Now, most people don’t know the, I’ll call it, ‘Tambourine Man Story’ between Donovan and Dylan when Pennebaker wasn’t allowed to record. Just something for those who thought Dylan was being mean to Donovan.
Loved that this version was in the second disc of the 2007 re-release.
