“Congratulations, Mr. Williams!” the nurse told Philip.
He smiled big. That’s good news. This is February 29th of 1956 – Moira’s birth day. A fact not needed until now: Mm had to have a C-section and wasn’t conscious during the delivery.
“You’ll be able to see both girls as soon they are …”
“I’m sorry, nurse…both?”
“Yes, twins, Mr. Williams. They’re beautiful!”

1954. The Diner where Philip met Albert. At the end of that I mentioned that Albert left the diner satisfied in meeting Philip. Well, the conversation that lead up to Albert leaving was…let’s drop in somewhere around:
Philip: And how would you even know that?
Albert: “I just do” is all you’ll have to be satisfied with.
Philip: I don’t understand why?
Albert: Some things just have to be a certain way, Philip. You and I can’t do much about it.
Philip: You can not ask me to do what you are.
Albert: Well, the problem is, Philip…you were never meant to be the father of her two children. Some things, now, will have to change…and, Philip…

Back at hospital – 2 years later. VO of albert, if you will, over the following scene.
Philip had both his little girls in his arms. One of them – Moira – had a birth mark on her left leg.
Albert: (VO)…the child with the birthmark, has to be the unfortunate one.
